Inspiring film. We have a very small vegetable garden plus a peach tree and a lemon tree and hope to add another fruit tree next year.
Being a vegetable gardener myself– though as self-sufficient as these cool folks– there is a special satisfaction in tending those beds everyday and the successful harvests that follow.
It is wonderful isn’t it? I have done very little myself but those few things I have grown gave me such joy. Am determined to do more in the future 😀

I really enjoyed this interesting story. I reposted it on my Facebook page!

I think acknowledging, perhaps promoting a vegetarian lifestyle and self-sufficiency is totally positive and Vegans might wish to support that as the alternative is a diet incuding meat. We have more agreement than not and a stronger voice together than separately. The reasons we are Vegan or Vegetarian are various, not singularly animal rights. I was pleased to watch and appreciate you posting this. ☺
I think it’s very inspiring to see people still ‘walking their talk’, and sticking to their ideals; we need inspiration!
