I love how you illustrate (I just noticed the double meaning, haha) the complete bias in our culture!.. Not to mention lack of education on the actual facts.

It’s so wrong that the tobacco companies are exploiting people with complete disregard for their health. I wish you every success with giving up smoking. You could save all the money you would have spent on cigarettes and buy yourself a present with it 😀

I’m sorry to hear that. Perhaps the World Health Organisation’s campaign might do something to weaken them but they also need make sure that healthy industries provide more jobs. Thank you for explaining it to me.

Why are the guns loaded if they are not hunting? Not very responsible on their part. 😐

Responsible is not their watchword 😉

Addictive is exactly right. It took me a long time to get off dairy. Now I find my favorite salad dressing has a small amoubt of milk solids added.

When I finally gave up cheese and milk I noticed I felt better. 🙂

Me too. Cheese is definitely the hardest thing to give up, but once you’ve been free of it for a while you stop craving it 🙂 Sorry about your salad dressing – try Plamil 🙂

They foolishly cling to things which ought to be corrected. I like that the children are saving the world.

They grow opium in Afghanistan to make a living. In fact (heroin, morphine) is most of the country’s income. It produces 70% of world supply. Heroin is cheaper on the street than any time in US history. Hmmmm. Wait a minute. If US has war on drugs and US troops in Afghanistan …Well. I let you reach your own conclusion.

That seems reasonable, you know, people gotta make a living. Dairy farmers, tobacco farmers, hit men, assassins, fashion designers. Oh, wait, now, no. It’s not reasonable at all.

You’re so right! 🙂 Not reasonable at all. It’s the “I’m alright Jack” approach to life.

Beautiful artwork! I love your sunset sky! That’s an amazing comparison between dairy and tobacco, very good. It’s ridiculous that they would protest something like that. I could imagine smokers protesting against tobacco control, but farmers! I never even thought of that. They should be somewhere looking embarrassed that their product makes people sick!

Thank you so much, you’re so right? They’ve got the land, why don’t they all grow something healthful?

Some people have a bizarre sense of logic and justice, don’t they?

Indeed. Actually I don’t think sense comes into it at all, just a desperate need to keep things the same.

Wonderful twilight illustrations!! Gorgeous! And I am surprised and intrigued to hear about the tobacco farmers – but it does make a funny kind of sense, and a very apt parallel 🙂

Thank you so much 🙂 In the case of the tobacco farmers, they got huge support for their protest on Twitter and of course the dairy industry has huge support from their addicts. They’re the same. No concern for the big picture. Why can’t they all just grow fruit and vegetables?

I don’t understand it. Humans are bizarre. I like the way you think – just vegetables and fruits would make the world a much better place!
I love these comics, they are really original, and they are tackling relevant issues of today, which is what fiction should do.

I know what you mean – you can’t help laughing because it’s so absurd. And yet it’s true. Why can’t they all just earn their living by growing something healthful? 🙂
