He’s acts gruff and I’m so dainty

But we seem to get on quite well.

He pretends to be tough but he’s soft really

And he likes me, I can tell.

He likes his space and I like to snuggle –

He lets me, not often, but sometimes.

I wouldn’t go so far as to give him a cuddle

But he’s my best pal for all times.
