I want a new hat!

I want a new hat,

It’s as simple as that!

But I’ve got no money to buy one.

I know what I’ll do,

I’ve got old hats – two,

I’ll unravel to make a new one.

Rose shared a pattern,

A cool beret pattern,

Which I’ll use to make my new hat.

The purple from my sloppy

And the cream from my saggy

Hats will go great together for that!

  2. Great idea and love the poem! I like to unravel old knitted garments whenever they come my way and upcycle the yarn into new things. I’ll look forward to seeing the finished hat 🙂

  3. What a great idea. I have to tell you though, when I saw this bottom image on my iPad first thing this morning (before coffee) I thought it was two cabbages!
