  1. I’m sorry I noticed that hunting ban post too late, it was already gone from your blog when I clicked on the link, such an important cause anyway! I have been sick with flu and resting, therefore I wasn’t looking at my phone.

I just watched an Ed Winters video about hunters and their excuses for killing animals. Ed made some great points about how they do so much harm to the ecosystem mostly killing the strongest of the species to boast about the big kills yet painting it as altruistic because “in nature they would suffer more being killed by predators” (ridiculous argument). Hiding the fact that their killings can also be very painful and takes away food from for example a whole family of wolves. They still have to eat despite everything. Hunting is destroying the ecosystem and natural order of things where wild predators usually target the weakest not the strongest ensuring the survival of species. It’s disgusting to paint a want to kill as a favor to the environment and hunters feeling “part of nature” when actually causing harm to it. Also very little of the hunting taxes goes back to the benefit of nature. You probably knew all this already. I’m just expressing my gratitude that you brought up this important subject! Thank you and sorry again for being too late.

Keep up the great work on this blog and have a wonderful week!

    • I know how you feel – when hunters portray themselves as altruistic it is very hard to take. I once read a piece by an unapologetic hunter, criticising those types by basically saying “Be a man! You have a God-given right to slay other species – don’t make excuses for it!” It was almost refreshing. Almost. I mean, he was a despicable human being but he didn’t pretend otherwise. Thanks for your input – with you all the way of course ❤ Get well soon.

  2. You have an exceptionally attractive and accessible website! I’m making a site on humor and plan to make a section on humor for children and the child inside the adult.
I would like to promote your site on mine. Would that be okay? I’m just starting the site and will do the kids’ section last.
    what are your thoughts …?

  4. I met Miranda at a vegan market in London and she was so kind! The comics are beautifully drawn, the stories are so interesting and it’s a super innovative idea. Can’t wait to read more!
