And then there are people who seem to believe animals don’t have feeling like we have. I can see the same fear in this monkey’s eyes as there would be in any human strapped into such an inhumane contraption and at the hands of academic monsters…

Thanks Chris. Looking at loads of similar pictures and videos in researching a story, I first wrote a much more aggressive poem on this theme but in the end decided it was inappropriate for a children’s site. The kind of people who do this, do it with pride. They consider themselves righteous 😦 As you say, they are monsters.
