Love it. I’m familiar with the info. My son has not done much dairy at all.

You liked the year-end group post I rounded up with three other bloggers. You might take to this:

Yes, thanks for that, I’m really interested in all that stuff and have a brilliant little handbook on natural home remedies. I will definitely refer back to your post. Thanks again 🙂

That’s too much-I’ll just drink the milk. Regards for New Year.

I know what you mean, that science bit at the end is a bit overwhelming but I didn’t want to be accused of over-simplifying. The way I look at it is quite simple: milk is a complete food for babies and is not meant for us when we’re fully weaned, especially that of another species; so clearly we’re meant to get our calcium from another source – and if you look it up you’ll find it’s abundant in so many plant foods. But it’s no good just eating calcium-rich foods and thinking that will suffice as the body needs all the different nutrients to work together. So, if you make sure you’re getting a wide variety of colourful fruits and veg (eat the rainbow as they say), especially plenty of different leafy greens, plus get your vitamin D (needed for calcium absorption) from the sun by getting outside for some fresh air and exercise every day, you should be covered! And I have to say from my own experience that since going vegan and giving up dairy I’ve never felt better. I never get ill. When people at work are dropping like flies from flu or a stomach bug, the most I get is a mild sore throat which is gone in a few hours. I’m not an expert by any means but it just makes sense to me 🙂 Happy New Year Carl

  5. […] that not the truth? Here is the link to bones and teef. It is a short story for children about the misconception of cows’ milk, but speaks volumes […]
