As rabidly PRO-SOLAR as I am, I have to point out that solar power is not without its problems too. Photovoltaics (solar cells) require the equivalent of refineries that process silicon not oil with the concomitant toxic wastes. Solar power towers lure in birds and incinerate them as “smokers”.

Thank you, yes, I am discovering all these horrible things in my research which is why I just had to write this story. But I didn’t know about birds being incinerated. Oh how hideous! Thank you for your contribution.
