This is a lovely story. I’d like to think that somewhere there really is a farmer like that. We can dream.

It is rare but actually this story is based on true events. An Australian dairy farmer, who always considered himself kind to his animals, noticed one of his dairy cows kept disappearing. Long story short, when he realised the suffering he’d been causing he gave up dairy farming and became vegan 🙂

I read this beautiful story to my little grandniece today. I am torn between my antipathy toward fairy stories and my belief that when one dreams big, anything is possible. Today I came down on the side of utopia. :).
