This arc was good. Really good. Really really good. I’m a much different person than I was as a pulp-super-hero-worshiping teen, but I feel like that kid would’ve liked this just as much.
The storytelling, and different perspectives, were really strong here. If I had any criticisms, it would be that there could be 4x as many panels for the story. More time with the world and the characters.
I don’t know what the plan for Reflecto Girl going forward is, but don’t be surprised if a filmmaker or two starts asking about it. I’m a tiny little indie filmmaker, and I don’t want to say ‘Yo, you should totally turn this into a series and try and sell it to Netflix’ or some nonsense like that, and I certainly don’t want to encourage you to monetize something if that’s not the goal, but it’s great, it’s relatively achievable, and a comic is one of the best proofs-of-concept a producer could ask for these days. It’s likely way above our capacity at present, but it’s the kind of thing I’d feel really good about producing myself. I frequently found myself thinking about how I’d film it while I read it. The reflection vision scenes would be really cool to set up, either animated or RL. The sort of challenge where you have to figure out what to show as much as how, because the unfiltered version is so strong and affecting.
I’m also really impressed with the understated badass cool of Reflecto Girl, and the Art Teacher is just fantastic. I hope there’s more panel time for her.
Anyway, great stuff, and please keep it up!

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like it and thrilled you’ve imagined how to make it into a film – a huge compliment. Really great to get the insight of another creative and yes there will certainly be more Reflecto Girl stories to come 😀
