Megan reminds me of Pippin from the Lord of the Rings. They have to go on a quest and he is a hungry person (a lot of the characters who live in the town are little fat people, by nature)
“Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop ’til nightfall.
Pippin: What about breakfast?
Aragorn: You’ve already had it.
Pippin: We’ve had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
[Aragorn turns and walks away]
Merry: I don’t think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn’t he?
Merry: I wouldn’t count on it. ”

Pippin is a bit like Winnie the Pooh, now that you mention it 😉 I am really enjoying your story, it’s even better than Lord of the Rings, it’s funnier, and it has girls in it, and it happens in space, so it’s really exciting and funny.
