It is a beautiful, moving and inspiring book, Violet. I remember we borrowed it from the library a few years ago when we were learning about Native Americans as part of our ‘World Cultures’ project. Here is a culture that truly understands sustainability, that walks the walk rather than just spouting more carbon emissions! For those of us who care deeply about our natural world, we can ‘connect’ easily with their ideas. Thank you for reminding me of this book 🙂

Chief Seattle is my favourite, the voice of conscience before all the destruction around. This looks like a wonderful book with such lovely illustrations.
