yes, i live in such an area where trees are not tolerated… I have lost two boundaries one to a new build and their lot, and their intolerance towards trees. full stop.. Now I have lost one in the storms – at the very back. We can here to retire to love the garden, we had nothing but trouble and building works for years.. We are selling our house and moving to Scotland. What do you think? Probably will be cold but at least there are still trees and wildlife… I can only afford a retirement place now.. 😦 – so if you see me blogging often you know why. I am trying to keep positive. eve 😉 – hope you like my blog,

Moving to Scotland? That sounds wonderful – I’ve often dreamed about doing that. If you look at the picture links in my sidebar, at the bottom you’ll see the ‘be inspired to grow your own’ link. If you click on that it will take you to a blog about Scottish Forest Gardening – this guy is really inspirational and I think it will certainly help you with staying positive. Good luck with everything 🙂

Ahh but not An Ogre called Breeze see what Bob did to him (ate all his cakes!) Sometimes they just have a bad reputation when really they are as gentle as kittens.
