   This story remind me of something that happened here in Quebec in 2022, less dramatic of course..:), they had to bring cowboys from a nearby western festival to capture the cows….but they could not, maybe they were well trained cows with a sense of freedom or escape…, the owner had apparently not a ‘stellar’ file with the Ministery of Agriculture, if I may a link to a newspaper, in french, about this story

      Thank you 😀 and thanks for sharing that link – I’ve had a look at it but it’s not giving me the translate button unfortunately so I haven’t been able to read it. That’s a fascinating story though, I hope it ended happily for the cows ❤

         Finally they were ‘captured’…but since there have been reports of some things to be fix on this farm following government agency inspections, it appears there have been some changes implemented, as for the cows they probably ‘back at the job’ of milk producing, hopefully they are treated better now.
