A Handsome Fellow

Here is the fellow

I met yesterday,

I don’t know his name,

He didn’t say.

But he was so handsome,

So elegant was he,

I quietly admired him,

Or was he a she?

    Looks like a kind of pheasant, prolly a male . Male pheasants have more coulour than the female ones. Just putting my two pennies in , Violet.

      Great Francina, thank you. I wonder what type of pheasant. Of all the pheasants I’ve seen before, the males are more colourful than this one, but the females are less so than him/her. This is a fun puzzle to look into 😀

          We now think, as Animalista suggested, he is a juvenile male pheasant who hasn’t yet got all his adult plumage. He looks beautiful though doesn’t he? 😀
