There’s a spider in my shower cap
And she doesn’t want to go.
She’s determined to hang on,
Whether I shake or whether I blow.
So I guess if it’s that important,
And she really wants to stay,
I don’t mind getting my hair wet.
It looks better on her anyway.

Lovely, Violet – and I love your illustrations! Your poem reminded me of a picture book we used to borrow from the library when our boys were small – it was called “Beetle in the Bathroom”. All kinds of creatures seemed to make their home in the bathroom.
