On the train

Yesterday we took a train ride to the seaside!

Through the fields we go!

Over the hills…

Have a little sit down…

Flying high above the houses! 😀

And even more houses…

Rows and rows of houses. And a crane in the distance!

Stopped in a station to collect more passengers…
Here we are!
Here we are!

And here we are in Brighton Station.  Please mind the gap between the train and the platform. 😀

Very cute! I haven’t been on a train since I was a little child. I must do it again! 🙂

There’s something special about arriving at the seaside by train, I always think 🙂 When we go to the beach we travel on the Tyneside Metro, which is a bit like the London Tube but much cleaner, newer and quieter! The track goes round in a loop and sometimes we travel the ‘long way round’ just to see the sea from the train 🙂 Hope you had a lovely day at the seaside 🙂

Yes, it makes it all such a happy adventure doesn’t it? You get such a child-like enjoyment of it (as long as you’re not travelling when it’s crowded). Thank you, yes, I did have a great day out 🙂

    You’re so lucky you can take a train . . . don’t care for cars much . . . except traveling the great American west and such . . . then they’re pretty cool . . .

Anyway, are those Converse Hi Tops?

Totally agree – I hate cars too – yes, we are lucky to be able to ride the train quite often. Yes, they are Converse – got them from a cool second hand shop in Brighton 🙂

… thought I recognized that star. Wore those as a kid . . . about . . . 300 years ago . . . when the choice was Converse or PF Flyers (which I actually thought would make me “run faster, jump higher.” Perhaps my first lesson on marketing. because I did neither, not even with my new PF Flyers.). Recently bought a pair of PF Flyers – I’m sure it’s not the same shoe maker … but… I needed shoes!! 😉
