UK Vegan Campout 2018

The UK vegan camp-out is the world’s largest vegan camping festival as well as being the most international, with campers each year coming from over 30 different countries!  They have a huge line-up with stages for music and talks, space for activism workshops, yoga and fitness, and dozens of delicious food options.  Each night finishes with an afterparty with DJs mixing different styles of music for everyone to enjoy 😀

Sorry, I’m a bit late telling you about this as it was held on the 17th to the 19th of August but if you bookmark this page now you’ll probably get reminded in time to buy tickets for the next one 😉

We heard about it when we were approached by Claire from Grow Up Vegan who, with the people from Raise Vegan Magazine, was running a family area at the event and wanted a few of our books for reading aloud to children at Story Time.

Macka B – Cucumber

I’ve always loved cucumbers but if it’s possible, now I love them even more 😀

I even grew some of my own this year – I got a bumper crop from just 2 plants and they are absolutely scrumptious 😀 ❤ ❤ ❤

New Music Page

I’m so grateful to Eva Xanthopoulos for introducing me to vegan music – I had no idea there was so much out there!  So now we just have to have a music page 🙂  Click on the link in the sidebar on the right to see a whole bunch of happy vegan music videos, and/or watch this space every day this week where we will post one of them, starting with the hilarious parody of Psy’s hit “Gangnam Style” by Henya Perez and friends.
