What a brilliant way for children to learn about plant-based nutrition!

Colour By Nutrients by August Bassett and Amy Fibbits is a colouring book full of  hand-drawn pictures of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.  Divided into 13 chapters of vitamins and minerals, the book illustrates which foods contain significant amounts of each.  Children (and adults) can relax with the colouring while simultaneously (and subconsciously) learning about nutrition.  The author also gives permission for teachers and parents to photocopy the colouring pages for use in the classroom.  A great idea, beautifully laid out, which, once the colouring is finished, can stay on the shelf as a very useful kitchen reference book.

Tell your friends – this should be in all schools and libraries!
